"Bison OL Quentin Bloom named All-State"- The Progress
The 2019 season started with a 31-20 win over Du Bois (that's 4 in a row in three seasons)
and stretched into a 5 game winning streak before traveling to Bellefonte and suffering
a 19-28 Loss. The Bison would lose again (21-35) to Bellefonte in the District Final but the
only other regular season stumble was a 28-36 Loss to Bald Eagle, ending the year at 9-3.
Included in the win column was a forfeit by Philipsburg-Osceola. This was the 4th
season in a row that the boys have played Bellefonte twice - once regular season
and once post. Things will be bit different in 2020 when the two squads will meet
twice in the regular season with some creative scheduling due to the pandemic
and maybe some other factors.
